2020 Camp Policies & Safety Measures

Please familiarize yourself with our measures and policies put in place to protect your kids, our staff, and all of our families!

studio floor plan

We will practice social distancing! Each camper will have their individual work space, tools and materials. There will be no sharing. 8 participants maximum, and 2 instructors. The studio will be closed to the public during camp hours.

sanitization

Our studio will be sanitized before and after camps using government recommended cleaners and methods.  This includes items such as, but not limited to, paint brushes, paint pods and pottery tools, in addition to tables, chairs and floors.

campers

  • no backpacks

  • we  will not be providing snacks or drinks of any kind. Please bring a snack, in a small bag, labeled with name (litterless, too, please)

  • bring one water bottle labeled with name

  • sanitize your snack bag and water bottle prior to arriving at camp

  • listen to your leader - they will keep you safe and you'll have more fun

  • if you begin to feel unwell, tell your leader immediately

hand washing

Our leaders will encourage social distancing at all times, and will ensure hands are clean upon entry and exit, and will stop for cleaning breaks throughout the morning. Hand washing at a sink will be one at a time!

parents

  • talk to your kids about physical distancing and what to expect

  • keep your camper home if they are sick, or anyone in your family is sick

  • when dropping off, please follow ALL signage (no entry to parents beyond front door, please say your goodbyes ahead of time)

  • online daily health form must be filled out (link provided with registration confirmation)

  • be able to pick up your child quickly should a) they fall ill, or b) not co-operate with our leaders if their behaviour could be unsafe to themselves or others, or damaging to the enjoyment of our camps by other attendees.

our creative pledge

These are challenging times with new rules! BUT we promise to do what we've always done and that's to have FUN while creating together, just a little farther apart!
